We love our custom home
It all started when my husband roped me into building a custom home.
We had no idea where to start or what this was going to look like. The hubby wanted smaller, I wanted bigger. We had to meet in the middle somewhere or this project was easily going to get out of hand.
That’s where our saving grace Erica Paling came in, she gave us so many wonderful tips and advice throughout our whole design process. She was so easy to make recommendations and changes where it was needed. Her experience and expertise with design and architecture is excellent. Her skill set and attitude made our design process easy going and fun.

Our family was very pleased with Erica in helping our dream home addition come to life. We gave her a rough idea of what we wanted, and she brought forth 3 different layouts for us to choose from. We hadn’t even considered some of the neat layouts she came up to work for our home — her creativity and thinking outside the box was amazing.
Erica is reliable, she showed up when she said she would, sent designs or ideas when she said she would. Reliability is huge in our books, especially when you are a busy household with little kids and always on the go. The final result was amazing. Neighbours and friends comment that it doesn’t even look like an addition and that it looks like it existed from the day the home was first built — which is exactly what we were going for. We wanted it to fit in with the original house. Erica’s exterior design with a combination of horizontal & shake siding tied in the addition to the existing house very well. We would highly recommend her!
